Mountain Vista Metropolitan District was established in 2006, including an infrastructure district, a residential taxing district, and a covenant enforcement district. The currently certified mill levies include 10 mills for Operation and Maintenance and 30 mills for Contractual Obligations. Mountain Vista Metropolitan District is located off the east side of Marksheffel Road between Barnes Drive and North Carefree.
